Hi, my name is Jessica Kovic and I am the owner of J.J. Admin Services. I have been working in administration and accounting roles for the past 13 years and am a registered BAS Agent.
Technology allows me to work from any location and has provided me with the opportunity to provide a home-based business where I can do almost everything an onsite employee can do without the worry of training, super, insurance and other payroll related costs. For sole traders and small business owners, a virtual administrator and bookkeeper can help ease everyday paperwork and accounting responsibilities
I also have specialised knowledge when it comes to bookkeeping and administration in the Building and Construction industry, from retention through the adjudication process with the Security of Payments Act. If you are a tradie or own a construction business, I can certainly provide services that will help you save time, money and concentrate on what you care about most in your business.
I have vast knowledge in Microsoft Office products and MYOB accounting Software.
I am also a Justice of the Peace, services for which are free of charge.
I look forward to working with you to achieve your business goals, for more information or to work out how I can help you, please contact me via the contact page or on 0468 471 224.
Since 2010 all bookkeepers providing a BAS Service are required to register as a BAS Agent.
The requirements of a BAS Agent are:
- Certificate iv in Financial Services – Bookkeeping or Accounting
- Over 1000 hours relevant experience
- Professional Indemnity insurance
- Ongoing Professional Development
What does that mean for you?
In the past, a bookkeeper was able to complete a MYOB or Xero course and start charging for their services. Unfortunately, due to their lack of experience, they often left a mess. The client could do nothing about it except find someone else who, hopefully, would be able to clean up the mess. It is a costly exercise both financially and emotionally.
As a BAS Agent there is a professional Code of Conduct in relation to:
- Honesty and integrity
- Independence (acting lawfully)
Breaching the Code of Conduct can result in termination of the registration and Civil Penalties involving fines up to $137,500. At last there is something that can be done if you are left in a mess.
We are Registered BAS Agents so that may give you confidence in the numbers, but the Team at J.J. Admin Services believes that great bookkeeping is not just about getting the compliance right … it’s about empowering you around your finances!
Where We Operate
